One year ago today Donald Trump launched his campaign to save America. On June 16, 2015 Donald Trump with his wife went down the escalator in Trump Tower to make the surprising announcement that he was running for President. From the start Donald Trump was written off by the pundits, saying he had no chance. Some were saying he might not even meet the required poll numbers to be on the main debate stage. They obviously didn't know what they were talking about. Within weeks after starting his campaign, Donald Trump was leading in the polls ahead of Jeb Bush, Scott Walker. By time the debates started Donald Trump was center stage and stayed there the entire primary season. Within months of Donald Trump starting his campaign he effectively pushed through the field forcing top names like Rick Perry and Scott Walker to leave the race and making many candidates irrelevant in the race. What was seen as impossible, became a reality, Donald Trump became the Republican Presidential nominee because the people did not care what the pundits or the establish wanted, the people want change and not Obama change.
