Mitt Romney was a disastrous 2012 Presidential candidate. He got beat up during the 2012 primary by a weak field. He let Obama hammer him away with false attacks in the months leading up to the convention. Once the debates came Romney did well in the first debate but let Obama gain momentum in the second debate and let Obama toss him around in the third debate. When the 2016 election came, some people wanted Romney to run again because of the weak crop of candidates the 2016 field had (without Donald Trump). However Romney was pushed out of the race by low energy Jeb. Then, at the midway point of the primary season Mitt Romney gave a ridiculous speech attacking Trump. The speech was uncalled for and really showed Romney as a establishment puppet with no moral compass or integrity. With the nomination basically wrapped up for Trump, Romney was still going around trying to court a Republican to run as a third party candidate. This ridiculous idea would split the vote and hand the White House to Hillary and we would be able to blame Romney for that if that was to happen. Recently we saw stories that Romney gave up on looking for a third party candidate simple because nobody wanted to do that. Recently there has been some stories circulating across the internet that Mitt Romney may be interested in running third party. Let me be clear if Romney ran again he would be a loser for the third time. Time for Romney to step aside. He had his chance and he failed. Now it'd Donald Trump's turn. Bernie Sanders originally wanted to debate Hillary Clinton in California right before the California primary. Hillary however declined to debate Bernie. Donald Trump then stated that he would be willing to debate Bernie Sanders in California if $ 10 million would be raised for charities sponsoring women's health issues. However today Donald Trump announced he will not be debating Bernie. He released the following statement which can be found on his website. Based on the fact that the Democratic nominating process is totally rigged and Crooked Hillary Clinton and Deborah Wasserman Schultz will not allow Bernie Sanders to win, and now that I am the presumptive Republican nominee, it seems inappropriate that I would debate the second place finisher. Likewise, the networks want to make a killing on these events and are not proving to be too generous to charitable causes, in this case, women’s health issues. Therefore, as much as I want to debate Bernie Sanders - and it would be an easy payday - I will wait to debate the first place finisher in the Democratic Party, probably Crooked Hillary Clinton, or whoever it may be. We all know Hillary has been lying since the start of her political career. The latest major lie surrounding Hillary is the email scandal and the new information that came out this week over the issue. The State Department Inspector General report released this week debunks many of Hillary Clinton's claims (lies) about her secret server. This secret server she used to conduct official government business as well as stored emails that she sent and received. This is illegal.
Today Donald Trump officially became the Republocan nominee. After being the presumptive nominee for several weeks when Ter Cruz and John Kasich dropped out, Trump got the 1237 delegates needed to get the nomination. According to RCP, Donald Trump currently has 1239 delegates.
In a new poll taken by Roanoke College, Donald Trump ties Hillary in Virginia. Donald Trump and Hillary both receive 38% of the vote. The margin of error was +/-4%. There were 610 likely voters asked between the dates May 9, 2016 - May 17, 2016.
Virginia is an important swing state. Barack Obama won Virginia in 2008 and 2012. This is a crucial state for Donald Trump to win to get to 270 electoral votes. The last time a Republican won New Jersey was in 1988 when George H.W. Bush was elected President. Since the election of 1988 Democrats have won New Jersey with substantial margins of victory. With the exception of the 1992 Presidential election the Democrats have always received over 50% of the vote in New Jersey. Conventional wisdom would say that in 2016 New Jersey will not be in play. However this election has proven that it is not following the conventional rules.
A Quinnipiac poll that was released last week shows Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump in New jersey but only by 7%. Hillary Clinton receives 45% of the vote and Donald Trump receives 38%.
This week Fox News and Rasmussen released two 2016 national polls between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. In both polls Donald Trump leads Hillary Clinton. In the Fox News polls:
1021 registered voters were asked. The margin of error is +/- 3%. The poll was conducted between May 14, 2016 - May 17, 2016. In the Rasmussen Poll:
1000 likely voters were asked, The margin of error is +/-3%. The poll was conducted between May 17, 2016 - May 18, 2016. For the first time in history the NRA endorsed a Presidential candidate before the convention. In comparison the NRA did not endorse Mitt Romney until October 2012. The NRA endorsement for Donald Trump happened yesterday at an event in Kentucky.
During his speech at the event, Donald Trump slammed Hillary. He said, "crooked Hillary is the most anti gun, anti Second Amendment candidate." Trump a;sp said, "she wants to take your guns away from you, just remember that." When the Clinton's left Washington in 2001 they stole thousands of dollars worth of Furniture, China and other items. In 2002 many of the items that they took were returned to the White House. (Source: ABC News)

A major scandal that happened in the 1990's during Bill Clinton's Presidency was the Whitewater scandal. This is just one of many scandals that Hillary Clinton was involved in. Go to our Never Hillary page to find a complete list of all the major scandals. The Whitewater scandal can be pretty complicated and long if written out. So to explain it thoroughly I posted a video below. All across the news and social media there has been a lot of talk that Donald Trump map pick the former Speaker of the House and 2012 Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich as the Vice President. Donald Trump is looking for a Vice President that has political experience who can help get legislation passed in Congress. Newt Gingrich definitely has the political experience as well as knows how Washington works. Adding Gingrich to the ticket would not help with a particular demographic or voter block but rather give political experience to the ticket. Also Gingrich is a superbird debater and has a vast knowledge of the issues which he demonstrated in the 2012 election. We posted two videos below of Newt during the debates.
Three days ago Donald Trump released the following video on his Instagram account. The video slams Hillary Clinton over her involvement in the Benghazi terrorist attacks.
